What LeMieux Colours Are Discontinued?

For any LeMieux fan, it’s not unusual to have a rainbow of matchy matchy sets in their tack room. But there are certain LeMieux colours which you just can’t get your hands on any more… here is our definitive list of discontinued colours, and the new alternative shades available.

LeMieux Blackcurrant

A rich purple colour which gives us all of the winter berry vibes! Although this lovely purple hue is no longer available in the LeMieux range, there are plenty of other purples to choose from. Why not go for pretty plum, a popular choice for the core collection, or LeMieux fig – a brand new colour for AW22.

LeMieux Blackcurrant

LeMieux Blush Pink

Who doesn’t want to look pretty in pink? Blush pink was a sweet and soft shade, which looked great on both bay and white grey horses. Are you a fan of pink? Fear not – the latest pink shade is the bright and fruity LeMieux watermelon, which is guaranteed to give you and your horse all the summer vibes.

LeMieux Blush Pink

LeMieux Caramel

Caramel was a soft and buttery colour in the LeMieux range. This brown and cream shade looked extremely smart on Chestnut horses, and gave a more traditional equestrian look. For a traditional style, you can’t beat classic LeMieux brown from the core collection.

LeMieux Caramel

LeMieux Champagne

Pop a bottle and meet the luxurious Champagne colour! This soft and creamy colour exuded elegance and luxury equestrian style. While there are sadly no similar colours within the core range or seasonal collection, if you’re looking for something a little more deluxe, then the LeMieux Twilight range is for you. This new style is finished in a satin sheen effect, and gives off a stunning, sumptuous vibe.

LeMieux Champagne

LeMieux Citron

Bright and zesty, Citron was the striking yellow shade from SS20. While this colour might not be everyone’s cup of tea, yellow looks great on darker coloured horses such as black and dark bay. For an updated yellow hue, go for LeMieux Dijon from the AW21 range.

LeMieux Citron

LeMieux Corn Blue

Corn, or cornflower blue, is a light and lovely shade of blue which looks particularly good on grey horses. LeMieux Ice Blue is a shade from the core collection which is a close relation of corn blue, but with a cooler, icy finish to suit a wider range of horse colours.

LeMieux Corn Blue

LeMieux French Rose

Ooh la la and bonjour to French rose! This romantic floral colourway is another striking pink shade which is sadly no longer within the core collection. As a darker pink colour, we think LeMieux mulberry makes a great alternative to the reddish tones of French rose.

LeMieux French Rose

LeMieux Lavender

Like blush pink and French rose, LeMieux lavender gave a beautiful pink feel with the added benefit of lilac tones. Sitting between both pink and purple, fans of lavender could either go for bright and bold pink Le Mieux Watermelon, or rich Le Mieux Fig.

LeMieux Lavender

LeMieux Lime

Fresh and bold Lime may no longer be part of the range, but if you’re a fan of green you’ll be spoilt for choice with the other green shades available with LeMieux Oak Green and LeMieux Hunter Green among the colours available.

LeMieux Lime

LeMieux Midnight Blue

A bit more exciting than simple navy, midnight blue was a colour which truly looked great on all horses. For AW22, LeMieux marine is a close alternative which will look exceptionally smart on all colours from chestnuts and skewbalds to greys and bays.

LeMieux Midnight Blue

LeMieux Olive

Traditional olive green is a true countryside staple. Nothing quiet says autumnal days in the countryside like a classic green colour, and you LeMieux Oak is a great alternative for getting that warm green feeling.

LeMieux Olive

LeMieux Paprika

Spicy Paprika was the colour of the day for AW20. There’s nothing more autumnal than orange, and Paprika left us dreaming of cosy nights by the fire, pumpkin spice lattes and all the shades of autumn leaves. Say hello to LeMieux Sienna for AW22, this striking colour is a touch darker in hue than Paprika and is perfect for bay horses.

LeMieux Paprika

LeMieux Sorbet

Sweet sorbet is definitely a summer shade. This light orange hue reminds us of hot days beside the coast, and the bright range of saddle pads suited all colours of horse. For SS22, LeMieux Papaya is a sweet shade of orange which is a fruity update on discontinued sorbet.

LeMieux Sorbet

LeMieux Tangerine

Bright and fruity tangerine is another orange hue which is no longer part of the LeMieux collection. But don’t despair… Le Mieux Sienna is the perfect orange shade to inject some colour into your riding wear.

LeMieux Tangerine

LeMieux Teal

We all love a little bit of blue, and the huge range of shades you can get from this colour means that there is a blue out there for everyone. Sadly, like corn blue, teal is no longer part of the core range. However, LeMieux bluebell and Le Mieux marine are bright and beautiful blues for 2022 which we’re sure you’ll love.

LeMieux Teal

LeMieux Turquoise

A similar colour to teal, turquoise was a stunning summer shade which was a bright and bold colour on all colours of horse. LeMieux peacock is a green and turquoise hue which makes a great alternative. Or why not go for something more blue and choose the iconic LeMieux Benetton blue?
